As part of our broad and balanced curriculum, we believe it is important to visit attractions that link to the children's learning, as well as having experts visit the school. This helps bring learning alive. These trips are funded either fully or in part by the school budget and PSFA contributions. Where it is part funded a parental contribution will be requested.
In years 4 and 6 the children go on a residential visit to gain life experiences outside of the classroom. Due to the greater costs of staying for 2 or 3 nights, we do ask parents to share the cost of these trips. The costs can be spread over the weeks running up to the trips, and if paying for the trip isn't an option, then parents are encouraged to contact the school.
