Meet the Governors

Welcome to our Governors’ section

The governing body is a group of volunteers who give up their time with the goal to provide a better education and learning environment. A large part of our success not only comes from engaging with our children, teachers and school but also comes from involving the community, and that means you!

What does the governing body do?

The aim of the governing body is to help children, parents, carers and staff get the very best from the school.

How is the governing body made up?

Governors are volunteers. Our group is made up of teaching staff; local authority; community and parent governors. To be a parent governor you must have a child at the school.

How do we get the best from the school?

  • By closely monitoring standards
  • Listening very carefully to all the community and providing support where needed.
